Hi friends, I'm Dana! Welcome to Intrinsically Crowned—I’m so glad you’re here! We are a Christian, faith-based company dedicated to creating natural, handcrafted skincare and haircare products that nourish and uplift. In addition to our self-care essentials, we also specialize in personalized gifts for both men and women, using our laser engraving machine to craft unique, meaningful items beyond our natural product line. I’ve been married to my wonderful husband, Ricky, for over 23 years, and we have 2 kids :) Well, they're not kids anymore, but they’ll always be kids to me! We've also been blessed with our first grandbaby. She was born on Valentine's Day 2025! We’re a close-knit family with two fur babies (CocoChanel & Essence) and our macaw parrot (MJ), and we all LOVE spending time together. Now that our kids are grown, my husband and I enjoy gardening, Jazz concerts, BBQ’n, and eating good food. 

I started Intrinsically Crowned because I LOVE making hair oils and good-smelling body oils. I've always been crafty, and I’ve always shared my goodies with my family and friends. There’s nothing like sharing my goodies with them during the holidays and birthdays. My family had been telling me for years I needed to share them with the world. I was always just too busy working my corporate job to think about a way to do that. 

Well, here we are. I’m done with the corporate world. I’m done with the long hours, layoffs, and never getting ahead enough to enjoy life and do the things I love. My career background has been in Learning and Development customer service. During the pandemic, I started doing contract work, working with a dear friend who started her own business helping startup companies establish their customer experience and support. 

While working with her, I figured out the way to make my oils so I can share them with you, and I decided it was time to step out on a limb and just do it! I started my own business. It’s time to make a living doing the things I love, which is creating natural hair oil and body oil essentials and creating personalized gifts and gift boxes filled with love. 

We’re having so much fun building our shop, and I’m looking forward to sharing my creations and growing our products. I’ve made so many things throughout the years, so now I’m putting them all together so I can share them with you. I know you’re going to love them!
